Keyboarding Curriculum for All Grade Levels
Elementary Keyboarding
EduTyping’s new elementary keyboarding curriculum has been developed to meet the needs of all students in Grades K-5. Instructors have the option to select from specially-designed, grade-by-grade curricula, each built to address the unique learning objectives at each specific grade level from kindergarten to Grade 5, or an all-inclusive curriculum where students progress at their own pace. The elementary keyboarding curriculum consists of the following 7 courses:
- Kindergarten
- Grade 1
- Grade 2
- Grade 3
- Grade 4
- Grade 5
- EduTyping, Jr. (Standard)
The success of EduTyping’s elementary keyboarding curricula lies in its unique row-by-row approach, where students learn and master the middle row before progressing to the top and bottom rows. With an abundance of drill-and-practice, review, and reinforcement lessons, instructors can customize their curriculum based on their own instructional classroom time.
The elementary keyboarding curriculum also includes a Digital Literacy unit that teaches the basics of technology, including Computer Basics, Digital Citizenship, and Learning to Type as well as computer applications lessons in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Presentations.
